We even got a guest appearance from Felicia “Snoop” Pearson (most known for her role on acclaimed television series The Wire) at owr table on Friday. Overall, it was a great experience for the chapter to help spread awareness throughowt the campus. In addition to getting a substantial amownt of people to fill owt applications, we also helped to inform those in need of absentee ballots as far as how their vote can be cast from the university. In order to help ensure that owr fellow students at Morgan were prepared for the election, the chapter hosted voter registration tables three days last week (a total of twelve hours) for students to register to vote in Maryland. Incumbent President Barack Obama is set to face off against Republican candidate Mitt Romney to decide who will be the leader of the country for the next four years. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, you should know that the 2012 presidential election is arownd the corner. Students who are considering participating in a Greek organizations Intake process should attend Greek Forum before attending any NPHC organization’s interest meeting. Greek Forum will take place in the first few weeks of both the fall and spring semesters and two additional times throughout the semester. The Greek Forum, “NPHC 411” is an event for students who wish to pursue membership to any of the NPHC Greek organizations should attend. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to any of the NPHC Executive Board Officers. The Homecoming Step Show is generally held the Friday night of the Homecoming Football game. ![]() The National Pan-Hellenic Council will generally host Step Show during each academic Fall year featuring all of the University of Louisville NPHC organizations unless chapters are not able to perform. As of Spring 2022, Gamma Phi Omega International Sorority, Incorporated is our newest organization and our associate member of NPHC: The National Pan-Hellenic Council at The University of Louisville is comprised of all “Divine Nine” or historically Black National Greek Letter sororities and fraternities. The Divine Nine at The University of Louisville Feel free to reach out to the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life if you would like additional information. Please explore our webpage for information on all of the National Pan-Hellenic Council organizations. The Council also sponsors events which promote unity among the membership of the different organizations. The Council is in charge of coordinating events that exposes the undergraduate student body to the history, mission and purpose of all of the divine nine member organizations on the University campus. The National Pan-Hellenic Council additionally serves as the governing body for the entire community of the predominantly Black Greek letter organizations. Additionally, this Council served as a forum to allow these Greek organization to consider and address problems of mutual interest effecting their organizations and their college experience. The National Pan-Hellenic Council was formed at Howard University with the purpose of creating a united body so that the Black Greek letter collegiate fraternities and sororities could form a united body.
